Life After Graduation

I am now a graduate of Canisius College! I made it!!!!! It seriously went by in a blink of an eye. Canisius College was nothing less of an amazing experience and if I could do it all over again I would do it exactly the same. It’s definitely a little saddening to not physically be at Canisius anymore. However, I’ll always have the memories, laughs, friendships and most importantly my Jesuit education to take with me in the next chapter of my life.

Graduation was honestly one of the best days of my life. Having all my family and friends together in celebration of our accomplishment and knowing I had a job lined up was the best feeling ever! After a fun filled weekend of grad parties and saying good-byes, life in the real world quickly began.

I graduated with a BS in Marketing from Canisius and a one-year associate’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from FIT. I now work in Manhattan as a Merchandising Assistant for Ralph Lauren.

I absolutely love my life! I’m living on the Upper East Side in a two-bedroom apartment with my friend Katie. Katie also graduated from Canisius and works for Jcrew. It’s definitely cool living with someone who works in the same industry. We’re both just starting out and adjusting to the real working world together. Paying bills is by far our least favorite thing to do as adults. Living in Manhattan is awesome but not so much when rent comes around each month! I guess that’s the reality of living in the city and I would have it any other way!
