Author, Columnist Humberto Fontova To Speak

Tuesday, November 10 at 7 p.m.

BUFFALO, NY – The Canisius College Republicans in conjunction with the Young America’s Foundation will welcome Humberto Fontova to campus on Tuesday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Palisano Pavilion. The event is free and open to the public.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Fontova fled the country to New Orleans in 1961, while his father was a political prisoner of then Cuban President Fidel Castro and Latin American revolutionary leader Che Guevara. He is the author of two books: Fidel: Hollywood’s Favorite Tyrant and Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him. Both books are written to expose what Fontova calls the “hypocrisy of the leftist media’s infatuation with these suppressors of freedom.” He is also a columnist for Newsmax, Human Events and Frontpage Magazine, a regular guest on “Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect” and has been featured on “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Hannity and Colmes,” “The Dennis Miller Show,” and “FOX & Friends.”
