The Magic of Life is an incredible, inspirational alcohol awareness program that deals with a son's story about a tragic drunk driving accident that killed his mother, and almost himself when he was nearly 8 weeks old.

New Year, New You presents STEP UP: A focus on men. The program, presented by Plate Male Media LLC., focuses on the consequences relationship violence has not only on women, but on men who have women in their lives they care about as brothers, boyfriends, sons, and friends. Specifically, the program will look at guys’ role in preventing violence including sexual assault (as empowered bystanders), dissect the myths regarding alcohol and consent, and foster motivation and efficacy to reduce incidents of myths. Pick which session fits your schedule best; attend at 6:30pm or 8:15pm! All male Canisius students are encouraged to attend.

The Leadership Series and New Year, New You presents Social Justice: When diversity isn’t enough. Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Social Justice and Diversity? As a leader, change agent and person working and living with other people — this difference is imperative. Learn the difference, stretch your comfort zone, sit in your privilege, power, and place of dominance within institutional and systematic forms of oppression in this highly interactive program. All Canisius students are encouraged to attend.
