Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO)
The Canisius chapter of Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization is an award-winning student club. Student members develop entrepreneurial leadership and professional communication skills through team building and team work as well as knowledge in entrepreneurship by planning and implementing educational outreach and experiential entrepreneurship projects.
In 2008, it earned the Best Chapter Award in the E-Diffusion category from Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization. E-Diffusion is an initiative that promotes entrepreneurship to non-business students. The Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization is a global, non-profit organization that develops entrepreneurial leadership through team building, as well as knowledge in entrepreneurship through the planning and implementation of educational outreach and experiential projects.
Also in 2008, CEO members teamed up the Women’s Business Center for an entrepreneurship event at Buffalo's Charter School for Applied Technology. Participants met with the high school business students to provide feedback on their business ideas and plans. The event was part of Global Entrepreneurship week.

The Richard J. Wehle School of Business strongly emphasizes hands-on experience in addition to a high-quality curriculum. The Entrepreneurship program provides many opportunities to put classroom learning into practice. The internship experience allows students to find out more about a potential career field and gain valuable networking contacts.
Students are also encouraged to develop their own businesses, both real and simulated. Many junior and senior entrepreneurship majors have actually created and run their own company. This practical experience is reinforced through a working relationship with the Canisius College
Women's Business Center (WBC). Entrepreneurs are regularly invited to presentations and activities sponsored by the WBC.
