Niagara County Employment and Training Department is the local administration for training programs funded under the Federal Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) for eligible Niagara County residents.  They assist unemployed, low-income or dislocated workers with training opportunities either on-the job or in a classroom setting.  The Department provides tuition assistance, childcare and transportation allowances.  The Department also assists employers by providing assessed, qualified candidates for employment.

Eligible Participants

Individuals placed into Classroom Training must be certified as eligible by the LWIAA prior to beginning classes.  An Individual Training Account, hereinafter called an ITA, shall be initiated by Niagara County Employment & Training for each participant to be enrolled.
