In keeping with the college’s Jesuit mission to educate the whole person, the English Department strives to nurture intellectual and spiritual growth through the study of literature and writing.
In addition to a major in English, the department also offers minors in theater arts, writing and creative writing. A variety of clubs and activities are offered outside the classroom including many avenues for our majors to showcase their writing and other creative skills such as The Quadrangle and other publications.
