Students are informed about the opportunity through various means, including: in class via faculty, selected major email lists, and career counseling appointments and they are encouraged to apply.
How long will my posting be active on College Central?
If an application deadline is indicated in your job description then the internship posting will remain active until that date, unless we are informed that the position has been filled. However, if an application deadline is not detailed in the job description then the posting will generally be active for 6-8 weeks and then extended if the job is still available.
Does the internship program director pre-select students for particular internships?
No. Internships are open to all students. Students decide which internship opportunities they will apply to according to their interests and qualifications. The internship program helps students to be successful in the application process.
