2009 International Fest
Take a trip around the world during the Canisius College 20th annual International Fest on Friday, February 27th from 5:00-10:00pm at the Richard E Winter ’42 Student Center. The event, sponsored by the office of International Student Programs, celebrates ethnic diversity.
International Fest will include an international buffet, with two seating, one at 5:00pm and one at 7:00pm. The festivities will also feature West African dancing lessons, origami, Japanese calligraphy, Henna painting, and musical entertainment.
Tickets can be purchased at the office of International Student Programs, lower level Frisch Hall, beginning February 16th, or the week of International Fest in Front of the dining hall at the Student Center from 11:00pm to 1:00pm.
About International Fest
Our office is responsible for coordinating the efforts of many student clubs to organize the annual International Fest, a celebration of cultural diversity. Many student organizations work cooperatively with our office to promote cultural understanding on campus through exposure to other customs, food, and entertainment. Featured events include a buffet of foods from all over the world prepared by student organizations, and an interactive, international entertainment program.
