Business management
This minor is designed for non-business majors and provides an introduction to and foundation in the key concepts and skills associated with effective management.

Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Supply chain management is concerned with the integration of value-added activities from product development to material procurement from vendors, to manufacturing and distribution of the good to the final customer. In today’s environment, competition is no longer of one company against another, but rather, of one supply chain versus another. Students in this minor learn concepts and skills necessary to effectively manage these elements of business competition and service delivery. Click here to see minor requirements and courses.

Human Resources Minor
Organizations can gain a sustained competitive advantage in the business world through strategic human resources management (HRM). This minor trains students in best for practices for acquiring and maintaining effective employees, developing their potential, and managing their performance. The learning experience is enhanced by membership in the Canisius Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Click here to see minor requirements and courses.

International Management
This minor focuses on developing students’ understanding of the practice of management on the global stage.  It also allows students to study the international dimensions of marketing and/or finance. Click here to see minor requirements and courses.

Management of Technology
In a time of constant technological change, managers will be increasingly called upon to manage new products, processes, and systems.  In addition to providing a fundamental understanding of the field, this minor helps students prepare for the six professional certification examinations of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).  APICS certification should significantly improve a student's employment prospects.
