The program
The information systems (IS) major is a multidisciplinary program that provides comprehensive training in the analysis, design and implementation of database management systems, Web-based applications, and telecommunications and data networks. Students receive instruction in Web site design, E-business, database systems, telecommunications, cyber security and computer forensics.
Concentrations and minor
Majors can focus on hardware and networking, E-commerce and global operations, design of software applications, telecommunications or cyber security. Information systems can also be taken as a minor.
