Dierenfield Named Distinguished Lecturer By Historians
Program features more than 300 U.S. historians

BUFFALO, NY − Bruce J. Dierenfield, PhD, professor of history at Canisius College and director of the All-College Honors Program, has been named a distinguished lecturer by the Organization of American Historians (OAH).
Created in 1981 by OAH President Gerda Lerner, the program features more than 300 U.S. historians. Each speaker in the program gives one lecture on OAH’s behalf at a participating institution during the 2008-2009 academic year, and donates his or her lecture fee to OAH.
