Welcome to a new chapter in your life! We understand that there may be many questions that you have entering Canisius as a freshman. This section has been designed especially to meet your needs.
*Please note: Freshmen housing assignments will be sent out shortly after the last Orientation session of the summer. This allows all students a fair opportunity to meet others during the Orientation sessions, in case you wish to request a specific roommate. Changes may be made to online freshmen housing applications until July 16, 2009.
WELCOME WEEKEND 2009:
Freshmen move-in takes place on Friday, August 21st between 9:00am and 4:00pm. For more information on freshmen move-in day, click here.
There are two mandatory floor meetings during your first weekend. They take place on Friday, August 21st from 6:30-7:45pm and Sunday, August 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm. It is necessary that all residents attend both meetings.
