Canisius University Economics Program Ranks Among Top 50 in the Country

BUFFALO, NY – Canisius University’s economics program ranked No. 36 on Study.com’ s list of “Top 50 Schools for Economics” for 2019.

Canisius’ economics program was recognized for its academic and career resources for students and its quality of education and faculty. 

Students studying economics at Canisius can choose to pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or complete a minor in economics. Students also have the option to enroll in the Golden Griffin Fund (GGF), an investment-management course that provides students hands-on investment experience using state-of-the-art technology to analyze stocks and equities. The GGF is open to students during their senior year and to master’s of business administration students. The Economics & Finance Club, the Canisius Entrepreneurs Organization and the Canisius International Business Association are clubs and organizations also available to students.
