Ignatian SPARK Program

Canisius students with the city as their classroom

The Ignatian SPARK Program is designed to help students smoothly transition from high school to college. Designed for provisionally admitted students at Canisius University, the program offers the tools and guidance necessary for a strong start.

Through a mandatory summer bridge program, a structured first-year experience course, and ongoing mentorship, SPARK ensures students are prepared for academic and personal success.

The 2025 SPARK Summer Program will begin on Monday, August 18, and end on Friday, August 22. Residential students who plan to live on campus for Fall 2025 are welcome to move into their fall assignments on Sunday, August 17.
