Canisius University is making plans to welcome students back to campus for the fall semester. With the New York “Pause” lifting, Canisius is proceeding with all the necessary planning and safety measures for students to be back on campus and in the classroom with the start of the fall semester on August 31.
“The health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and their families, remains our top priority and continues to lead our decision-making regarding the reopening of the campus,” said President John J. Hurley.
The college’s Recovery Task Force is examining policies and procedures regarding social distancing protocol, ways to adapt classroom instruction, on-campus activities and the opening of residence halls. All decisions will be made in adherence to state and federal regulations and health guidelines.
