Peter Bergenstock has been a writing tutor and instructor at Canisius and other local colleges since 1997, focusing on first-year writing courses and legal writing. He emphasizes the steps involved in creating a polished essay: discussion, brainstorming, thesis, organization, drafting, and revision. He is known as “the voice of Canisius” at graduation ceremonies.
