Susan Burns is currently in her 15th year as an ENL teacher in Western New York. She has had the privilege of teaching students from many different countries, backgrounds, and proficiency levels throughout her teaching career. Susan has a tremendous passion for teaching and helping her students learn and acquire a new language. In her role as an ENL educator, she has provided professional development about multilingual learners and ENL strategies to school teachers and staff to teach them more about this unique population. In addition, Susan is an adjunct professor at Canisius University, teaching future educators and passing along her love and commitment to this field.
