Pilgrimage Overview
This trip is not your typical sightseeing excursion. In English, El Camino de Santiago translates as “the Way of Saint James,” a well known pilgrimage in Europe to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain where it is believed the relics of Jesus’s apostle Saint James the Greater are held. The Camino has existed as a Christian pilgrimage for well over 1,000 years. People from all over the world continue to walk this path. Participants for this Road Less Traveled Seminar will walk an average of 10-15 miles a day over hilly terrain. In addition, each evening will consist of group dinners, and an opportunity for spiritual reflection after the meal.
