CANISIUS COMMUNITY MEMBERS NAMED MOST INFLUENTIAL LEADERS BY BUSINESS FIRST

BUFFALO, NY – Members of the Canisius University community make up more than 16 percent of Business First’s Power 250 list for 2015. The annual ranking identifies the most influential leaders throughout Western New York.

The Power 250 list includes 31 Canisius University alumni, including President John J. Hurley ’78, who earned a place at number 53. President Hurley and University at Buffalo President Satish Tripathi are the highest-ranking local college presidents on the list.

Six members of the Canisius University Board of Trustees made the list. In addition, the Power 250 list included 13 individuals who have received honorary degrees from Canisius.
