Jodi Huber

Mrs. Huber has been an adjunct instructor with Canisius University since 2011. Prior to that, she was an adjunct instructor at SUNY Fredonia.  Her coursework prepares teacher candidates for the RTI/MTSS process, special education process, parental rights, how to work with students with disabilities, and differentiate instruction to meet students' needs.  

While she has taught at the elementary level since 2002, she has been employed by Brocton Central School District in Brocton, NY for the last 18 years.  During her tenure, she has taught kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grades.  After spending nearly two decades in inclusive education as a classroom teacher, she is currently an instructional coach with the district, supporting teachers in all areas of instruction, but with a focus on literacy, data driven instruction, inclusion, and differentiated instruction.  Additionally, she is the STEM coordinator at Brocton Central School District, where she is working on STEM integration, including instituting robotics and drone programs. In 2023 she will be help facilitate the district's first ESports program. Mrs. Huber also serves as a mentor teacher and is a member of the district's Shared Decision Making, Technology, Professional Development, and RTI teams.

In 2018, she became a NEF Cyberlearning Academy Director.   As the director, she has partnered with the National Education Foundation to bring personalized online learning to the Brocton Central School District, as well as help bring more STEM programming to the district.  In 2019, Brocton was the NEF Academy of the Year, for achieving the most growth in online learning and STEM programming. 

Mrs. Huber was selected as one of the top 5 finalists for New York State Teacher of the Year in 2011.  In 2021, she was honored as a Business First's Teacher of Merit.  She is also a Google and Flip certified teacher, as well as a certified EdPuzzle coach.
